There are four versions of the new EVO model.
- Waydoo Max Plus
- Waydoo Pro
- Waydoo Pro Plus
- Waydoo Master Plus
These boards are built for riders of different levels and have their own features and materials to consider. The Max Plus at 130 L is best for beginners and heavy riders, but dedicated eFoilers can quickly outgrow this model. The Waydoo Pro is our favorite, considering the cost and versatility. It's easy to learn yet small enough to never outgrow for most riders.
The Pro Plus Model has added features that make eFoiling on a smaller board incredibly user-friendly. It is a great consideration if you are new to eFoiling yet want to start on a regular-sized board rather than something massive like the Max Plus. The Master Plus is reserved for intermediate to expert riders who want the benefits of a small Kelvar board or the challenge of an advanced eFoil.
EVO PRO VS EVO PRO PLUS
The main difference between the EVO PRO and EVO PRO Plus models is the inclusion of flight assistance, assisted balance for take-off and landing, and geo-fencing in the Plus model.
These features make the EVO PRO Plus an excellent option for those who want extra help and a smoother ride. If you're athletic and up for a challenge, the Waydoo EVO PRO is a more cost-effective option that still provides skill assistance. The EVO PRO Plus, on the other hand, is designed for those who want the most advanced features and the smoothest ride possible.

Waydoo Evo MAX Plus Vs EVO PRO PLUS
Waydoo Evo Max Plus 130 Liter
The beginners choice, this eFoil offers maximum stability, float and ease of use. It uses sensors and a proprietary algorithm with auto assistance when needed to make foiling easier. You can use a stabilizer wing extension rod or flyer pod to make it even easier.
The Waydoo Evo Max is a large, high-volume, stable board. It's designed to make learning to eFoil as easy as possible, particularly for heavier riders or those with little to no board experience. This board offers a reassuring level of stability, ensuring a confident and secure ride.
Waydoo Evo Pro and Plus 90 Liter
This board is the best size overall. It's not too big or small, so you can learn to eFoil with this size yet never have to upgrade later. The EPP foam with an aluminum alloy frame is the tried and true material we have come to love with the Original Waydoo Flyer One. EPP foam is an excellent, low-maintenance construction material.
It's durable, but unlike fiberglass, you won't need to repair the board if there is any damage. It's soft on the body when you fall and light enough for most to carry. This is the lightest model in the new lineup of Waydoo Evos, weighing only 8.7 kg compared to the Master Plus at 11.7 KG or the max at 14.8 kg.

Which Waydoo Evo Mast should I buy?
The Waydoo Evo offers three mast options: a 27-inch, a 31-inch, and a 35-inch. The shorter and longer masts, made of standard aluminum alloy, provide a balanced experience, while the 31-inch, crafted from carbon fiber, offers a stiffer ride for more advanced users. The 27-inch mast will be available in the US first, with the longer masts set to arrive in the mid-to-late fall of 2024. There are considerations for each size and you can read about all the pros and cons of each in this blog about the Waydoo Evo Short mast Vs Long.
Which Waydoo Evo Propulsion System Should I get?
The Waydoo EVO propulsion unit is available in three versions that cater to a wide range of riders. The standard unit will be more powerful than previous iterations of the Waydoo Flyer, boasting a 4000w power output capable of propelling riders who weigh up to 287 pounds.
EVO Propulsion Unit Standard: The lowest-cost option and is the best choice for beginners or most eFoilers who don't need the extra power of the Performance or the precision of the Elite. It has more power than previous Wadoo Propulsion systems, making it a reliable and safe choice for those starting out in eFoiling.
Evo Propulsion unit performance: This mid-tier unit boasts the same power output as the Elite but at a lower cost. It has the same durable manufacturing process as the standard unit. Heavier riders should consider this system for the extra power with a savings cost.
Evo Propulsion Unit Elite: The most potent and engineered system of the three. Crafted with utmost precision using a CNC machine, the Elite is the top choice for riders who demand the best from their eFoil. Fast, sleek, and precise are the best ways to describe it. Advanced eFoilers should look to this system.

Which Waydoo Evo Battery should I get?
There are new Waydoo Evo batteries. They both feature an LCD monitor for real-time status updates, are IP68 waterproof, and come with leak detection alerts. Additionally, they can both be used as a power source and are capable of reverse charging when paired with the inverter charger.
Powerflite 18 Vs. Powerflite 23
Powerflite 18 is the lighter and best suited for smaller riders who don't want to transport a heavier eFoil battery. It's a perfect choice for someone who wants more maneuverability on the water. For example, if you're going to eFoil in the waves without power, we recommend the Powerflite 18. A lighter eFoil board will have less swing weight and be better for sharp turns or pirating wake. It will have a shorter run time than the Powerflite 23.
Powerflite 23 is best for someone who wants to have fun on the water all day. With 2300 wh compared to the 18's 1800 wh, you'll get much more out of this battery. The Powerflite 23 is 4 1/2 pounds lighter than the 18. This is a significant difference, but the good news is you can transport to Waydoo Evo with the aptly named mover wheels.
