Which Waydoo Evo Battery should I get? Powerflite 18 Vs. Powerflite 23

The New Waydoo Evo has significantly improved from the flyer one plus. You now have the choice of three new masts, the new Voyager wings, three different Waydoo Evo Propulsion systems, and two different eFoil batteries: the Powerflite Battery 18 and the Powerflite battery 23.

Rest assured, both Waydoo Evo batteries are of top-notch quality and reliability. They both feature an LCD monitor for real-time status updates, are IP68 waterproof, and come with leak detection alerts. Additionally, they can both be used as a power source and are capable of reverse charging when paired with the inverter charger. This ensures that you can trust in the performance and durability of either battery option.

As a potential buyer, you might be pondering over the choice between the Powerflite 18 and the Powerflite 23. This is a valid question, and we respect your need for detailed information. This article is designed to provide a comprehensive comparison of the specifications, features, and capabilities of each battery. Our aim is to empower you to make an informed decision, ensuring that the Waydoo Evo Battery you choose is the perfect fit for your requirements.

Waydoo Evo Powerflite Battery 18 Vs. Waydo Evo Powerflite 23

The Waydoo Evo Powerflite 18 is the lighter and best suited for smaller riders who don't want to transport a heavier eFoil battery. It's a perfect choice for someone who wants more maneuverability on the water. For example, if you're going to eFoil in the waves without power, we recommend the Powerflite 18. A lighter eFoil board will have less swing weight and be better for sharp turns or pirating wake. It will have a shorter run time than the Powerflite 23. The Powerflite 23 is best for someone who wants to have fun on the water all day. With 2300 wh compared to the 18's 1800 wh, you'll get much more out of this battery. The Powerflite 23 is 4 1/2 pounds lighter than the 18. This is a significant difference, but the good news is you can transport to Waydoo Evo with the aptly named mover wheels.

The Waydoo Evo Powerflite 18 is great for smaller riders

Small Riders: This model is best for Small Riders or eFoilers looking for maneuverability and performance on the water, whether for racing, waves, or aggressive riding.

Lighter: The Powerflite 18 weighs 4 1/2 pounds less than the 23. This will reduce the carry weight and the swing weight on the water.

Reduced run time: The trade-off for the weight benefits is that you won't get as long a run time as the 23.

Charge time: It takes just over 2 hours to charge fully.

We keep a few of these batteries on hand for quick missions with friends, shorter wave sessions, and to keep the weight down for some of our instructors teaching shorter lessons.

The Waydoo Evo Powerflite 23 is our choice for eFoil Lessons

Waydoo Evo Powerflite Battery 23

• Weight: 38.5 lbs

• Capacity: 2300 WH

• Max Voltage: 58.4 Volts

• Size: 43.5x28.8x9.1 cm

Heavy Riders: This model is best for heavy riders or eFoilers who want to spend as much time on the water as possible. It can run for up to 140 minutes.

More Power: If you're using the Powerflite batteries to charge things, the larger model will provide more power.

Longer run time: You can get rides up to 140 minutes.

Charge time: It takes just over 2 hours to charge fully.

The Powerflite 23 is our bread-and-butter battery for eFoil lessons. Students generally want to get the most water time possible, and we prefer the longer run time for our days on the water.
