FAQ's

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO LEARN?

Generally, riders are normally foiling within the first 20-30 minutes. Once you're confident we can take you around islands and waterways in Biscayne Bay.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Everything is provided as part of our package. This includes wetsuits, lifejackets, booties, gloves and helmets with built in communications. Please just bring a towel and swimwear.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS TERRIBLE?

At the instructors discretion, a reschedule of your ride time will be offered due to bad weather. A member of our customer service team will be in touch to arrange a more suitable day and time

WILL I FOIL ON MY FIRST LESSON?

95% of all riders who learn with Manta5 foil on their first experience.

WHAT SWIMMING ABILITY IS REQUIRED?

You need to be comfortable in the water, that's why we provide the best gear possible! If you can swim 25m and tread water for 5 minutes, you'll be absolutely fine! Our instructors go through rigorous rescue training and drills. You will also be able to talk to them! Don't stress, we have you covered!

WHAT IS YOUR MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM AGE?

Minimum age is 10 years old. As for maximum age, we've yet to discover that! If you're a competent swimmer and a natural water baby, contact us and we can discuss maximum ages!

CAN I BUY AN HYDROFOILER FROM YOU?

The answer is YES! We will also take money from your lessons and put it towards your own Hydrofoiler! Our instructors will sit you down and help you customise your very own bike, we will then organise rapid shipment straight to your door!
