Waydoo rates the 6000W Evo to 286 lb. In this video Chris puts 350 lb on one board, on purpose, to see what the foil will actually lift. You'll see the setup he used, the ride itself, and the honest caveat about why the number on the spec sheet is not the number that decides whether you can ride.

Chris: Hey, what's up guys? This is Chris and Toni here. Today we wanted to show you what the weight limit is on the Waydoo Evos.
To start with, when we do the weight limit test we're usually using a C1500 Voyager or Glide wing. In my opinion, you get similar results either way. A lot of times I've got multiple boards with different wings on the water. It's one or the other. So, C1500, either Glide or Voyager. And we're also using the 6000W motor.
And just so you know, the manufacturer's recommendation for the 6000W motor is good for 286 lb. That's what they say. And the 4000W motor is 198. However, just as a disclosure, we put a lot more weight on it than that.
Obviously I have limitations here. I only weigh 170 lb. Toni here, 60 lb. So we did have to get a little creative, right? Sometimes you've got to ride with two people, maybe three people. So as you can see in the video here, we have Toni, myself, and our friend over here at 120 lb. So we were able to get up to 350 lb on a foil.
So here's a clip. Have fun watching that. That was pretty fun. We got up to 350 lb and we foiled no problem.
So of course, if you weigh less than 350 lb and you're inefficient, it's not going to be as good. And that is with the 6000W motor again. We haven't tested much on the 4000W motor, but I'm sure you can do more than the recommended 198 lb.
At 350 lb we had no problem foiling with the three of us on the board. And again, I am very efficient as a rider, so I can maneuver the board to get up. So it does take efficiency. If you are having trouble, you've got to make sure you're getting up on a plane first, to then go and foil. So if you're having any issues, you can always give us a call. Don't worry about that. All right, just check out our how-to eFoiling video, also a good reference. Not only are we just riding around with multiple riders, another thing that we like to do, we like to use the Waydoo to pull a structure. Maybe put a bunch of people on a platform, like an inflatable, and pull it out to our sailboat or something, and then we'll use that structure for people to demo the board or do multiple board lessons. And most people do opt to get the bigger motor because of doing fun stuff like this. So yeah, this is all the 6000W motor.
The point of this video is kind of to show you the max weight, which is, you know, unrealistically 350 lb. So now you have it. 350 is what we got to, and we didn't have any problem with that. So I think we could get to the 400s.
