MADDIE: Hey, what's up everyone? It's Maddie with eFoil Miami. I'm here with...
CHRIS: This is Chris. We have the new C1300 Voyager wing. It's going to be right between the 1100 and the 1500, so we're expecting it to be kind of an all-rounder. But the only way to really find out is to go out and test it out. So we have it here. We might try it back to back with the other wings and kind of see where it fits in.
MADDIE: Longer, slightly smaller...
CHRIS: The higher aspect, yeah. Definitely more high aspect than the 1500 Voyager. The 1500 Voyager is, you know, lower aspect, like this wide, not as long. Where this one actually looks more similar to the Glide. So it looks like it's kind of right in between the Glide and the Voyager, shape-wise.
MADDIE: Looks like it's going to be best of both worlds. Let's test it.
CHRIS: Yeah, let's try it out. Maybe it sucks.
(laughter)
CHRIS: No, I think it's going to be great. It looks pretty good. So let's go test it out. Woo! Cheers. Boom! That is good, dude. All right. So yeah, I'm really excited to try this thing out. C1300 Voyager. First time on it. Let's see. Ah, yeah. So far I really like it. The first thing I'm noticing to get up and foil, comparing it specifically to the 1500: I am, you know, obviously riding a little higher at a higher speed. How much power I need to get up? Probably need to use about an extra notch of power than I would on the 1500. So it's probably not going to last quite as long as the 1500. Naturally, it's for sure not going to last quite as long. But the turning. Man, yeah, I really like the turning. Wow. Get back out of the wind. Yeah, it turns super quick. Check it out.
CHRIS: Yeah, it turns really, really well. So already I do kind of see it as a viable option as like a one wing does it all. Let's turn up the speed here. Yeah, so I'm turning it up. I have speed 14. I'm going 28, 29, 30. Yeah, I'm going 30 kilometers and holding it down pretty good. I mean, it's not super easy, but I'm not popping out of the water. So if you want to go faster, it's going to be way better than the 1500 for sure. Yeah, as a one wing does it all, I'm really liking this a lot, honestly. Definitely keeping this one in the demo quiver.
Rider: You can really glide very nicely on this new wing. Feels really stable. Even through the turn. Woo! Let's go.
CHRIS: All right, so I kind of gave most of my feedback. I think it's kind of an all-round good wing if you're kind of like a mid-size rider. What did you think?
GUEST RIDER: Thought it was nice because it was faster. And once you get on the foil, it's very smooth. I don't know if it is lighter, but it felt lighter than the other board I was riding, which I don't know the name of.
CHRIS: Yeah, our intermediate rider. And Maddie, what did you think about it overall, comparing it to other ones? You ride other boards too.
MADDIE: It was a great wing to glide. It was smooth, so you feel stable on it. But it's maneuverable enough where you can make nice turns. Yeah, I like it. It's a good overall wing.
