  • Waydoo Standard Propelor
  • Waydoo Jet Drive
  • Waydoo Folding Prop

Should I buy the Waydoo Evo Standard Prop?

Our top recommendation is the standard prop. It has a protective cover and the most power delivery. The Waydoo EVO standard propeller is best for riders not focused on riding waves or who wake unpowered. It's best for standard eFoiling and long distances. We love it for its performance and speed. The propellor and guard have been the industry standard, and we chose this model for our eFoil lessons in Miami.

Pros of the Waydoo Evo Standard Prop.

• Good for heavy riders above 190 pounds

• More power delivery

• Better for aggressive fast riding

Cons of the Evo Standard Prop.

• More drag compared to the Jet Drive or Folding Prop

• Not as safe as a jet propulsion system.

The standard propellor is best paired with the Waydoo Evo Master Plus or the Evo Pro and Evo Pro. Heave riders starting on the Waydoo Evo Max might consider this option.

Should I buy the Waydoo Evo Jet Drive?

The Jet Drive, the safest propulsion system from Waydoo, is designed with your safety in mind. With no exposed prop, you can eFoil without the worry of accidental kicks or cuts. This makes it a great choice for new eFoilers, families with younger children, and safety-conscious riders. The Waydoo Evo Jet Drive offers a smoother power delivery compared to the Standard Prop and Folding Prop, with less thrust and slower speeds. Waydoo has always been known for its user-friendly systems, and the Jet Drive takes this to the next level, making learning effortless and safe.

Pros of the Waydoo Evo Jet Drive.

• Safest option available

• Easier takeoff and flight

• Manageble thrust and power for timid riders.

• Perfect for families

Cons of the Waydoo Evo Jet Drive

• Less power

• Not ideal for heavier riders who need extra thrust

• Not ideal for pairing with performance boards

The Waydoo Evo Jet Drive is best paired with the Waydoo Evo Max or the Waydoo Evo Pro. Both of these higher-volume boards are easier to use and match well with the ease of use provided by the jet drive. Technically, you can use this with the Evo Master Plus, but you will miss out on the full performance of that board.

Should I buy the Waydoo Evo Folding Prop?

The Folding Prop is a versatile choice, perfect for riders who want to eFoil surf or wake surf. It's the most aerodynamic option of the three, designed to fold in for a surfing experience with minimal drag. Whether you're pumping small waves in the ocean or wake surfing behind a boat, the Folding Prop delivers the power of the Standard Prop with the reduced drag of the Jet Drive. This powerful combination is ideal for intermediate to advanced eFoilers looking for optimal performance.

Pros of the Waydoo Evo Folding Prop

• Powerful

• Least amount of drag

• Perfect for unpowered wave and wake riding

Cons of the Folding prop

• No safety guard

• Unnecessary upgrade if you're not riding unpowered

This is a powerful combination when paired with the Master Plus. With the low-volume board and streamlined propulsion unit, you'll be closer to emulating prone and wake foiling. The folding prop is also a good fit for the Waydoo Pro and Pro Plus. The board's volume is enough to learn, but it's still small enough for performance riding and getting into the waves or the wake.
