How long does it take to set up a Waydoo Evo?

Hey, what's up guys? This is Chris with eFoil Miami. Today we have the Waydoo Evo in the accessory bags, propulsion unit bag, board bag, and the mover wheels. But what we're going to be doing, we're going to be timing how long it takes to get from everything in the trunk and assemble the board completely and put it in the water. So, what that means is we're going to have to get out of the trunk, walk it there, put the the mast on the board, put the wings on the

board, turn on the board, and hit the water. So, obviously, it's not a big step. Again, it's very simplistic. The the Waydoo is very simplistically designed and we'll just see how long it takes. All right, so let's start this challenge. Bobby got the timer going. As soon as the board hits the ground and I start assembling the board, he's going to start the timer and probably yell out every 30 seconds how long it's taken. All right, let's do it. 3 2 1 Let's go.

Boom. going down. Car might be a little messy, but that's all part of the game. Let's do this.

So, yeah. I mean, I even have the battery already in the board just to carry a little easier. And the board is actually really easy to carry. And obviously, this is on my back. It's not too heavy. Super easy to carry. All right. Soon as the bag hits the wa the ground, Bobby starting the timer. When you ready? Yeah. Go. Go. Boom. It's just real chill.

So, open the board bag. Open this bag. [unclear] wing. We'll put the mast on first. Did have the hardware in my pocket. I don't know if that counts as cheating. Is that kind of as cheating, Bobby? No.

No, not cheating. Just happened to be in my pocket. So, I do really like the little finger screws here. Not everybody does, but for me, it's a little quicker and for it's pretty secure in my opinion. Haven't had anything fall apart yet. I do like it. It's not cheating.

And then we'll just do the front wing here. How long How long have we been doing this so far? About one minute, Chris. We're at 1 minute already. I thought we'd already be done.

Honestly, just putting the screws on is probably going to take the most amount of time of it. That's true. Like if for me, if I didn't have any bags, I would have to have one I'd have to go twice. And it's not like groceries where you try to do it all at once with no bags. Um I would have to go back at least once to get um

to get the battery. So I'd have the mast in one hand and the battery mast and the battery in each hand and either go back for the board or one of one of the other So, I'd have to actually do two trips. So, with everything, you're saving a good bit of time. 2 minute mark right now. Oh, man. We got to hustle, bro.

I'm I'm tempted to just ride with the wheels on it. What do you think? Are they What? They buoyant. I mean, they go and you could ride with them if you want to like ride to another location and like wheel it around, which I've done, but just want to rinse them off afterwards is all.

All right, guys. So, yeah, that was uh that was the take. Honestly, like a lot of times I do leave the the wings on the board, so half the time was just like taking it out of the bag, I think. So, if your wings are already in the board, it takes a little less, but I think Yeah, normally it's like a minute aboard, but you know, it's 3 minutes. Yeah. Flat 3:45. Oh, under four minutes from the bag, though. So yeah, that is the nice part about having the wheels

um and the and the backpack. What are you completely dry? Of course. Yeah, I'm dry. I just rode them dry, bro. Come on. Your shoulder off, baby. Yeah. So, yeah. Uh under four minutes. Um taking out the bags, everything ready to go. So, I'm not going to be able to ride long. Bobby want to ride. [name unclear] want to ride. So, uh let's get some

clips and just get some more videos going. But yeah, this has been uh the setup and how fast and how long it takes. Uh if I have time for lunch, you can usually go eFoil cuz it takes, you know, 2 minutes to walk here with the every like the gear and you know another 3 minutes to set up and you have the rest of time to ride.
