C1100 Glider Waydoo Evo Review
The C1100 Glider for the Waydoo Evo is Waydoo's newest wing in the lineup
This new high aspect wing rounds off the entire line of front wings for the Waydoo Evo boards. Waydoo now has as many good wing options as any other efoil brand out there, in our opinion.

What are the Pros and Cons of the C1100 Glider Front Wing?
The Higher aspect Glider wing gets you up and foiling faster than the lower aspect wings. This allows you, as the rider, to use less battery power while still being able to carve turns almost as aggressively as the 1100 Voyager wing, while not burning as much battery.
Should I choose the 1100 Glider or the 1100 Voyager?
If you are a rider looking for a one-wing setup that can handle tight turns without draining your battery too quickly, the Glider is the way to go. Also, if you're a bigger rider, the higher aspect Glider wing is the go-to wing for you.
If you want to get out there and rip the tightest turns and aren't worried about battery life, go for the Voyager wing.
Which Waydoo Wing Should You Ride? (Glider 1100 vs Voyager 1100/1500)
If you're trying to figure out the difference between the Glider 1100 Carbon, the Voyager 1100, and the Voyager 1500, this is your breakdown. Chris from eFoil Miami tests all three wings back to back to see:
-
Which wing gets up on foil faster
-
Which one uses the least battery power
-
Which one turns best
-
And which one delivers the most fun per ride
These are real-world comparisons — based on speed, efficiency, ride feel, and power draw — not just specs on a box.

What’s the Difference Between the Waydoo Glider 1100 and Voyager 1100?
The Glider 1100 is a higher-aspect wing. That means it's built to fly with less drag and better range. In the test, it got up on foil quicker using less power and felt surprisingly stable for its size.
The Voyager 1100, by comparison, rode a little faster and handled higher speeds well, but it took more throttle to get up and didn’t glide as easily once you were off power.
“Honestly, this Glider 1100 might be my new favorite wing. It turns super clean, stays stable, and just feels efficient. I didn’t have to use much power to keep foiling.”
We do have another guide on this subject if you want to read a deep look at all the wings.
Which Waydoo Wing Gets Up on Foil Faster?
The Glider 1100 wins here.
Chris got on foil at gear 7–8, with minimal throttle. With the Voyager 1100, he needed more power — closer to gear 8–9 — and even had to pump a few times to get up.
So if you're looking for a wing that pops up early and lets you ride longer, Glider 1100 is the move.
Which Wing Uses Less Power?
Again — the Glider 1100.
It takes less energy to lift, and once you're riding, you can hold speed with minimal throttle. Chris hit around 11 mph cruising comfortably and 16 mph when pushing it, all while using less power than the Voyager 1100 or 1500.
If battery life matters to you, or you want longer sessions, go Glider.
Is the Glider 1100 Good for Carving Turns?
Yes, surprisingly good.
“I could whip a turn way sharper than on the Voyager 1500 or Glide 1500. Felt like a good middle ground.”
You won’t get the full carving snap of the Voyager 1100, but it holds speed better and still turns tight enough to feel playful.
Does the Voyager 1100 Ride Faster?
It does ride faster, but with a tradeoff.
The Voyager 1100 feels a little looser and more aggressive at higher speeds, especially in carving turns. But it also requires more throttle and effort to stay lifted, which shortens ride time.
If you want max turn power and don't mind shorter sessions, this one's a solid choice.
What About the Voyager 1500?
The 1500 is the most stable, lift-heavy wing in this comparison.
You’ll get slower lift, wide turns, and solid control. It’s great for beginners or anyone riding surf-style, but not as agile or efficient as the Glider 1100.
Which Wing Gives the Longest Ride Time?
The Glider 1100.
Less power to foil, better efficiency once you're up, and no need to run it at full throttle.
“I really liked the Glider 1100 just because it’s going to give me a lot longer ride time with almost as much maneuverability as the Voyager.”
Final Verdict: What’s the Best All-Around Waydoo Wing?
If you want something that pops up early, uses less battery, still turns well, and keeps you riding longer then the Glider 1100 is your move.
If you’re all about tight carving and don’t mind burning more power, go Voyager 1100.
And if you want slow and stable, Voyager 1500 is still a solid option.
