How to Ride a Manta Electric Hydrofoil Water Bike
Objective: Learn how to ride a Manta 5 SL3 bike, safely and effectively.
Materials Needed:
- Manta 5 SL3
- Battery (fully charged).
- Water body (lake, river, or other suitable locations).
Instructions:
- Choose a Suitable Location:
- Find a location closer to the water, such as a lake or river, where you can easily access the water.
- Preparation:
- Insert the fully charged battery into your Manta before putting it into the water. Ensure the battery is securely in place.
- Mounting the Bike:
-
Have your bike in water deep enough to get started.
-
Start by putting your arm across the handlebars and pushing down on the center of the bike or on the seat to submerge it.
-
Swing your leg over the Manta and place both feet on the pedals. Make sure the pedals are parallel to each other instead of up-and-down.
-
Maintain a firm grip and pressure over the handlebars to prevent the nose of the bike from floating. This may take a little getting used to, especially if you are not accustomed to foils.
- Getting Started:
-
Once you are stable on the bike, pedal twice or push the lightning bolt on the remote to unlock the throttle.
- Use the throttle to gain momentum and start rising out of the water.
- Riding on the Water:
-
Once you are on top of the water, start pedaling in a regular cycling motion.
-
Depending on your preference and the level of exercise you want, you can adjust the throttle. Decrease the throttle for a more physically demanding session, or increase it for a more relaxed ride.
- Safety Precautions:
-
Always wear appropriate safety gear, such as a life jacket, helmet, and any other protective equipment recommended by the manufacturer.
-
Be aware of your surroundings and follow any local regulations or guidelines for water activities.
-
Practice balance and control, especially during your initial rides.
-
In case of any issues or emergencies, know how to safely dismount the Manta and return to shore.
Enjoy your ride on the Manta 5 SL3, and stay safe on the water!
